Horoscope for the Week of February 4-10 2013
With three planets changing signs, plus six more high-energy transits, all in its first few days of February, this week will give us an idea of this hard to miss energetic month ahead!
Mars and Venus raced to be the first to enter their new signs on February 2, with Mars diving headlong into Pisces and Venus soaring into Aquarius. Mars immediately hit a wall, as sensitive Pisces never knows what to make of Mars' aggression. Try directing your energies toward spiritual and artistic pursuits that will satisfy both Mars and Pisces.
Meanwhile, due to Aquarius' hesitancy toward intimacy, Venus doesn't fit into the Water Bearer's astrological make-up either. Fortunately, Venus has the advantage over Mars when it comes to making the most of a difficult situation. Life may not be super-romantic during this transit, but you'll find yourself drawn to lots of friends, parties, and fun!
Mars then collides with Neptune in Pisces on February 4, making a sticky situation even stickier. Either Neptune's influence will undermine your plan of action, leaving you anxious and in a panic, or Mars will light a fire under your dreams, helping you set sail. Remember: You're the one to ultimately decide which way this day will go.
On February 5, Mercury leaps from Aquarius to Pisces, when your intuition will kick in and bring answers to questions before you even ask. Mercury continues to keep you on your toes from February 6 through 9, as it slides into a way too "fluid" conjunction with Neptune, an argumentative conjunction with Mars, and a happy-go-lucky square with Jupiter.
Venus takes turns performing a celestial dance first with Uranus on February 6th and then Jupiter on February 7. What does that mean for us mortals? It means Venus will act as a buffer to the other aggressive aspects, trying to mellow down the intensity of a long standing Uranus Pluto square which will be with us through 2015.
The FULL MOON in Aquarius on February 10 will illuminate your path on a visionary goal you might have had set aside while trying to put up with the demands of everyday practicalities. Do not expect everything to go as planned and maintain flexibility. That might be difficult when the moon is full in such a fixed sign as Aquarius but a sincere effort will help.
Valentines Day comes with its expectations of romance, flirtatious moments and fun with the subject of your affection. With the Aquarian Moon hovering over our intentions, love will take more of a friendship tone. I know this is not what everyone wanted to hear but if the universe won't give you romance right now, you will see a friendship strengthened at this time turn into passionate romance next.
Until next week, as I always say, live, love and learn.
